Youth dies in road mishap at Kunzar
Kunzar, Mar 25: A youth died in a road mishap at Kunzar here on Monday.
Reports said the student Muzafar Ahmad Mir son of Abdul Ahad Mir of Mamoosa village was traveling towards Kunzar in a minibus. “Due to overcrowding, the student was standing close to a window. The minibus met with an accident at Sonim and the youth was struck by a tree and died on the spot,” witnesses said.
The youth had graduated recently and was now an aspirant of Government Polytechnic College Gogjibagh where he was scheduled to submit his form on the fateful day, reports said.
Meanwhile, residents of Mamoosa village have expressed strong resentment over frequent mishaps due to dilapidated condition of Kunzar-Mamoosa road. They have urged the authorities to take immediate measures to prevent mishaps on the road.
