BFIT announces scholarships for Kashmiri students
Srinagar, Apr 30: Dehradun-based BFIT group of institutions has announced scholarship programs for various UG and PG courses for students from Kashmir.
It in a statement here said that under the programme six students will get 100 per cent tuition fee waiver, six 50 per cent and another six 25 per cent among general category.
The programme also takes care of candidates from SC, ST and Minority categories, it said.
Meanwhile, it said the interested candidates can collect the application form for scholarship from the institute office at Rambagh, Airport Road, here.

Aryans Job Fair on May 25
Srinagar, Apr 30: Aryans Group of Colleges will hold a placement drive at its campus at Chandigarh on May 25. About 40 companies are expected to participate in the drive.
Dr Kataria of Aryans Group said the students interested to participate can log on to www.aryans.edu.in. Last year the group conducted a job fest in which about 300 companies participated.
DoP holding post office festival from May 20
Srinagar, Apr 30: Department of Posts, J&K Circle, will be organizing Srinagar Post Office Festival from May 20. The theme for the festival is: “Clean Srinagar, Green Srinagar”.
Chief Post Master General J&K Circle John Samuel in a statement said the programme will be organised in collaboration with Srinagar Municipal Corporation.
“The objective of Srinagar Post Office Festival is to trigger the development of Srinagar and to make it at par with world class cities by involving the people of Srinagar,” he said.
He said during the 3-day festival, Stamp Designing Competition on ‘Clean Srinagar and Green Srinagar’ will be held.
“The competition will be open to school children, college students and other members of the public.
