Promotions, postings in AH Deptt
Srinagar, Apr, 30: The state government has made promotions, transfers and adjustment in Animal Husbandry and Sheep Husbandry Departments.
According to information available with Greater Kashmir Dr Ishtiyaq Ahmad Gaani, Chief AH Officer, Ganderbal has taken over the charge of Chief Executive Officer, Livestock Development Board, Kashmir.
Dr S D Makhdoomi, Joint Director, Frozen Semen Project, Kashmir has been given the charge of Director, AH Kashmir in addition to his own charge on retirement of Dr G R Mir.
Dr Tej Bahadur Chakku, Joint Director, SH Department has been given the charge of the post of Director, SHD Kashmir & MD Sheep & Sheep Products Board on retirement of Dr J A Khan in addition to his own.
Dr R.P Chohan, Joint Director, Farms, Jammu has taken over the charge of Director, AH Department, Jammu from Dr P K Magotra on his demitting the office on attaining the age of superannuation today.
Dr S K Abrol has been placed as Joint Director, IAH&BP, Zakura, Dr Reyaz Ahmad Sheikh on his placement as Deputy Director has been posted as Chief AH Officer, Srinagar, which post was lying vacant following retirement on Superannuation of Dr N A Wani.
Dr Tariq A Qureshi on his placement as Deputy Director has been posted as Chief AH Officer, Pulwama in place of Dr Qazi Reyaz Ahmad who demitted office today on his attaining superannuation after putting in more than 33 years of service.
Dr Fida Hussain has been posted as poultry geneticist and Dr Muneer Ahmad as project officer poultry project Mutton.
Meanwhile, the new arrangements ordered have been widely hailed as in larger public interests.
The retiring officers were today accorded warm send off by colleagues.
