Apropos the news ‘Jinnah’s refusal jinxed Kashmir: Noorani’ Every wrong doer and aggressor in order to hide his moral weakness concocts lies. Same is the case of India in regard with its ‘occupation’ of Kashmir.
Stronger India with the help of British annexed a half of Muslim majority Jammu and Kashmir by naked military aggression. Before that with the support of same British it stole big chunks of Muslim majority territories in the process of partition of Punjab and Bengal by fraud and deception.
What A G Noorani stated about Qaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s refusal to hold plebiscite in Kashmir was a part of the bundle of lies Indians have been spreading since 1947.
Pakistan was not a party to Hyderabad and couldn’t stop its annexation by India and this was clear to all and sundry. On November 1, 1947 India had already occupied Jungarh. Why stronger expansionist India would then bargain Kashmir against Hyderabad and Junagarh.
Indian leaders were crooks but not fools. India succeeded in snatching the vale of Kashmir because it was stronger. Until Pakistan doesn’t become strong enough to be able to take decisive initiative for the liberty of Kashmir nothing will change. Till then Muslims of vale of Kashmir and its adjoining districts have to learn to be patient with the present situation even though they dislike it from the core of their hearts.
But things will not remain always the same as A G Noorani wrongly wants Kashmiri Muslims to believe.
