SSS,Forest-XI hail Thakur’s appointment
Srinagar, May 17: Shaheen Sports Syndicate (SSS) and Forest-XI have hailed the appointment of Zamir Thakur as President J&K Football Association for third consecutive term.
“Zamir has done lot of work for the development of football in the State and there is no better person to run JKFA other than him,” said SSS chairman Showkat Khanyari.
Forest-XI team members Reyaz Ahmad Shah and Showkat Ahmad Masoodi have also hailed Thakur’s appointment.
“He has helped JK football regain the glory of past. Under his leadership both JKFA and Forest-XI have excelled both at State and National level,” duo in a joint statement said.
