ISC celebrates sports day

Srinagar, May 28: Islamic Study Circle, J&K central office, Balgarden organised its sports day celebration events at Fateh Kadal, sports ground here on Tuesday.
 In the event a round 150 students from various Darsgahs of Srinagar in the age group of 8-14 years participated in ten different events.
 Organising of such events is a regular feature of the organisation for personality development of students in a holistic manner, a statement issued by ISC read.
 President of the organisation Soofi Ghulam Qadir, Prof. Naeem Fazili were the guests on the occasion and distributed prizes among the winners.
 In 300 metre race, Faizan, Wasit and Shabir bagged first three positions respectively while as in 100-metre race, Mutahir, Aman and Nasir bagged first three places respectively.
 In hopping, Jibran Khurshid, Hanan Mir and Aftab Hilal bagged first three positions while as in lemon and spoon race, Sahil Rashid, Muhammad Shahid and Haseeb Bilal bagged first three positions respectively.
 In frog jump, Danish, Areeb and Faisal Manzoor bagged first three places respectively while as in ball throwing, Owais Tariq, Shoib Shiowkat and Haseeb bagged first three positions respectively.
 In ball bringing, Haseeb, Kamran and Hamza bagged first three places while as wicket targeting, Faisal, Junaid and Nibrass bagged first three places respectively.
 In banana eating, Muzammil Qureshi, Raihan Manzoor and Mohsin Meraj bagged first three places respectively while as in tug of war Zone C and Zone A bagged first two places.
