Minister reviews RMSA, SSA

Srinagar, May 7: Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand Tuesday held a meeting of senior officers of Education Department to review the pace of school buildings being constructed under RMSA and SSA in the State.
 Minister of State for School Education, Feroz Ahmad Khan, Secretary Education Hirdesh Kumar, Director School Education Kashmir, Mir Tariq Ahmad, Director School Education Jammu G. A. Quresh, State Project, Director SSA, S C Sahni and Director RMSA, Hilal Ahmad Parray were present in the meeting.
 An official spokesman said the meeting discussed threadbare the issues related to functioning of Government schools, filling up of vacant posts, promotion of teachers to higher grades and posting of teachers to far-flung and remote areas.
