Srinagar, Sep 6: Minister for Tourism Ghulam Ahmad Mir Friday inaugurated a state-of-the-art health club of Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation (JKTDC) at TRC complex here.
The health club is a joint venture with Bharatport India Private Limited developed on Private-Public Partnership (PPP) model.
On the occasion Mir said it was the need of the hour to have such facilities for tourists and locals.
“This is the first of its kind initiative in the government sector and I congratulate JKTDC Managing Director Shamim Wani for taking a lead in it. Such facilities would upgrade the star rating of newly constructed hotel Kongposh, a 42 room property,” Mir said.
