KUTA, JUTA to work together
Srinagar, Sep 6: The President of Kashmir University Teachers Association (KUTA) has stressed for joint efforts of KUTA and Jammu University Teachers Association (JUTA) for mitigating the problems of teachers of both the premier institutions of the state.
Speaking on the Teachers day organized by JUTA at Zorawar Auditorium of Jammu University, President KUTA Dr Ganai identified various problems and issues concerning the teaching community and two major universities.
While highlighting the efforts of the teachers in maintaining and promoting the academic excellence in higher education in the state, he reminded the teachers how their genuine aspirations have been brushed aside. Congratulating JUTA for organizing the teachers’ day he requested the teaching community to maintain academic standards in spite of various odds that they are facing at the hands of authorities.
Earlier Dr Ganai had long meeting with President JUTA Prof J P Singh, where in it was resolved that the two associations will work in close coordination in order to address the genuine aspirations of the teaching fraternity.
