ISMBR meeting begins at SKIMS

Srinagar, Sep 7:  The 2-day 9th Annual Meeting of the Indian Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ISMBR) hosted by department of Endocrinology & Metabolism, SKIMS  was inaugurated  Saturday. A handout said the conference focused on Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Disease including Vitamin D deficiency.
 Ex- Director SKIMS Dr Mehraj-Ud-Din who was chief guest on the occasion released ISMBR souvenir. He complimented SKIMS for hosting event and lauded department of Endocrinology SKIMS for their work and focused research.
 Professor Nikhil Tandon Professor Department of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes AIIMS New Delhi and  President ISMBR  was guest of honour.
 Director SKIMS Dr Showkat A Zargar has complimented the organizing team for the event.  Organizing Secretary Dr Bashir Ahmad Laway in his welcome address highlighted the importance of the conference.
 Professor and Dean of Medical faculty SKIMS Dr Khursheed Iqbal also addressed the audience and Dr Riaz A Misgar presented vote of thanks.
