JKTDC clocks Rs 6.5 cr profit in 4 months

Srinagar, Sep 7: Adjournment Annual General meeting of Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation was held under the Chairmanship of Minister for Tourism, Ghulam Ahmad Mir here on Friday.
The meeting adopted annual audited general reports for the financial year from 2005-06 to 2009-10.
Commissioner Secretary, Tourism, Atul Duloo, Director General Funds, Mangotra, Managing Director JKTDC, Shamim Ahmad Wani, Company Secretary, Rakesh Bhat were among others participated in the meeting.
The meeting, an official statement said, was informed that during these years, the corporation has earned revenue of Rs 2459.49 lakh against which booked an expenditure of Rs. 23.91 lakh and earned net profit of Rs. 135.58 lakh during the period.
It was revealed in the meeting that during last four months of current financial year, the corporation has earned revenue of Rs. 16.16 crore against which booked expenditure of Rs. 9.47 crore under revenue and capital components and earned Rs. 6.53 crore net profit during the said period.
