Srinagar, Oct 11: Kashmir Economic Alliance today severely criticized the Union Oil Ministry for “refusing to raise the cap on subsidized cylinders for consumers in Kashmir.”
“It is very unfortunate that the centre government doesn’t understand the problems of the people living in the Valley. Cold weather conditions and topographical disadvantages that Kashmir faces, should have been taken into consideration by the Oil Ministry and it should have raised the cap on the number of subsidized LPG cylinders to 12 a year per consumer in the Valley,” statement reads.
Meanwhile, KEA, Federation Chamber of Industry Kashmir (FCIK), Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) have supported the strike call given by Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation ( KTMF) for Friday, October 12.
