3 DIE IN RAMBAN MISHAP

Ramban, Nov 9: At least three persons were killed and an equal number of others were wounded when a local carrier, carrying LPG cylinders, skidded off the road and fell into a gorge at Kousi Nallah, near here late last night.
 Police said that the ill-fated load carrier was on way from Banihal to Ramban when it veered off the road and fell into 50 feet deep gorge, killing three persons, including a woman, on the spot.
 The deceased were identified as Roop Chand (driver) S/o Santu of Peera Byepass, Kousalya Devi W/o Shambu of Matra and Mohammed Asgar S/o Gulam Ahmed.
 Three injured were Jeet Lal S/o Roop Chand of Peera Batote, Parsotam S/o Premu of Maitra and Rinku S/o Dolan Chand of Maitra.
 Police sources said that the mishap took place around midnight, last, and it took around an hour to rescue the injured from the gorge.
 In view of the critical condition of the injured, doctors of District Hospital Ramban referred the injured to Government Medical Collage and Hospital Jammu for advance treatment.
