Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) state president and former MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia today kick started the wall painting campaign at RS Pura to garner support for separate Jammu State.

In a press note issued here, Mankotia sad that Panther Party will also launch the same campaign at district headquarter more so that demand of separate Jammu State gets momentum and large participation.

Meanwhile, the ‘Haq-insaaf yatra’ started for separate Jammu state led by Balwant Singh Mankotia today reached R S Pura, the border town of Jammu district where local trade union leader Sham Gorkha and hundreds of party workers gave a warm welcome by garlanding the party leaders.

While addressing the gathering, Mankotia disclosed that in coming days Panther Party will launch the wall writing campaign at district level to garner the support of masses for separate Jammu State demand.

He criticized the state government for not taking any action against Mayanmar and Bangladeshi nationals residing here illegally.

Taking serious note of the unscheduled power cuts in R S Pura, Mankotia said that 66 percent power revenue is being collected from Jammu region and 80 percent power is supplied to Kashmir.

He said people of Jammu region are without power despite clearance of power dues. Sham Gorkha criticized the local administration for its failure to provide Adhaar Card, Ration Card and Permanent Resident Certificate and warned that Panther Party will come on roads if genuine issues of people are not addressed.
