The activists of Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice (MPEJ) on Tuesday alleged that the root cause of Kashmir problems lies in the context of broken promises of successive central Governments made with the people of the state.

As per press statement, the members of MPEJ said failure of all successive Governments at the centre as well as in the state has cost the people of state   dearly.

While   reacting on the visit of congress team headed by former Prime Minister Dr. Man Mohan Singh to pick the fishes in the troubled water Kuldeep Kumar Rao & Ram Singh Chouhan, active members of Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice said that the root cause of Kashmir problems lies in the context of broken promises of successive central Governments made with the people of the state especially the commitments made in Delhi Agreement 1953.

The duo cautioned the public to read between the lines and keep these spent forces at arm’s length. Time has come to give a change to the whole socio-political system otherwise public will again see them in new guise &    garb.

Infect, over last 3 decades of bloodshed & plunder, common masses are harvesting what these parties have sown, they have virtually nothing to do with the interest of Kashmri people or Jammu region, reads statement.

They also alleged that the main cause of the present situation in India including in J&K state is due to the high-level political corruption which gave rise to the militancy, the drugs smuggling, the adulteration in food items, the fake medicines, price rise, corruption in offices at low level & also responsible for spilling the blood of innocent people day in & day out on the land of saints & sufis in Kashmir.
