Deputy Speaker Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Nazir Ahmad Gurezi today directed the Government to include all the refugees living in other areas of the State including Gurez in the recently announced package for PaK refugees living in Jammu region.
The direction was given by the Deputy Speaker during the debate on discussion on motion of thanks on Governor's address in the lower house today.
The Deputy Speaker said there are refugees from PaK living in other parts of the State as well and they need to be included in the package announced for these people.
SSA teachers to get salaries soon: Minister
Jammu, Jan 10: The Minister for Education Naeem Akhtar today said that regularization of KGBVs (ReTs) has already been ordered by the Government and Directors of School Education have been asked to make necessary adjustments of the regularized KGBV teachers against available posts.
The Minister was replying to a question by MLA Ranbir Singh Pathania.
Akther also informed that non-disbursement of salaries to the teaching staff under SSA is due to less receipt of funds by Government of India (GoI) against approved allocation and the matter has been taken up with GoI for early release of due installment of funds to the tune of Rs 928 crore. The outstanding salaries to SSA teachers shall be released as soon as the funds are received, he added.
