25 injured in Sopore bus accident, six referred to Srinagar

Reports said that all twenty-five people on board the bus were injured in the accident which took place near Wadoora Payeen village after the driver lost control over the bus.

Over two dozen passengers were injured after a bus turned turtle near Wadoora in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday morning.

Reports said that all twenty-five people on board the bus were injured in the accident which took place near Wadoora Payeen village after the driver lost control over the bus.

The injured were shifted to Sub-District Hospital Sopore where from six have been referred to Srinagar for advanced treatment.

The bus, bearing registration number JK 05 6162 was heading to Handwara from Sopore when it turned turtle near Wadoora Payeen village.

Those referred to Srinagar have been identified as Rafiqa Begum, Hafeeza Begum, Firdous Ahmad, Raja Begum, Ruqaya Akhtar and Khurshid Ahmad.
