Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Mahmood Shah has paid tributes to the six militants killed in Hajin on Saturday.

In an emailed statement to local news agency KNS, LeT spokesman quoting Shah said, “For the government, this might seem no more than a little accomplishment on the heavy price of its soldiers, but for Kashmir, such sacrifices will bring glad tidings to the freedom struggle”.

He said the slain militants belonged to the Bashir Lashkari Squad and that “such sacrifices will not go in vain.”

“The revenge is due on the Mujahideen and they shall have it at any cost,” the statement said.
