A complete shutdown is being observed in Hajin township in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on the second consecutive day today to mourn the killings of six LeT militants.

A witness said that all shops and other business establishments are closed while traffic is off the roads.

Six militants including Osama Jhangvi-nephew of Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi and two top LeT commanders were killed in a fierce gunbattle on Saturday in Hajin. 

An IAF Garud commando was also killed while a soldier of 13 RR unit was injured during the gunbattle.
