Letter writing competition on January 6

Srinagar, Dec 11: Chief Post Master General, J&K Circle, Srinagar is holding ‘42nd Universal Postal Letter Writing Competition for Young People 2013” on January 6, 2013 at Srinagar, Baramulla, Udhampur and Jammu.
 The competition is open to school going children up to 15 years of age as on 31st March 2013. The intending participants can write in English or any language listed in the 8th schedule of constitution of India. The duration of the competition is one hour.
 The competition carries Rs 2000; Rs.1500; Rs.1000 as first, second and third prizes respectively with Rs.250  consolation prizes along with certificates to the best entry from each Postal Circle.
 The subject for the competition is “WRITE A LETTER ABOUT WHY WATER IS PRECIOUS”.
 The last date for submission of application forms is December 20, 2012 and may be sent to Accounts Office, Chief Post Master General, J&K, Srinagar-190001. The interest may also contact on 0194-2474048 and Fax No. 0194-2452036. PIB
