JKLF PaK zone holds protest rally

Islamabad, Dec 10: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Pakistan administered Kashmir (PaK), organized a rally today on the occasion of International Human Rights Day and held a protest demonstration at Kotli. 
 The rally, led by the former central convener PaK, Gilgit and Baltistan zone, Sajjid Sidiqui, was taken out in Kotli on the call of JKLF from Rooli Gali.
 Passing through different areas the rally culminated in a large public gathering at Abshar Chowk where a strong protest demonstration was held against human rights violations committed by the armed forces in Jammu Kashmir.
 The leaders who spoke on the occasion included Sajjid Sidiqui, Malik Asghar Sethi, Fazan Kashmiri, Amir Abass Kashmiri, Shahzad Kashmiri, Commrade Tifore and Idris Padshah.
 They strongly condemned the alleged human rights abuses being committed by the forces under the protection AFSPA, PSA, etc, in the Jammu Kashmir. They also condemned the life imprisonment awarded to the Kashmiri youth by the courts.
 They appealed to the international human rights organization to take cognizance of the rights abuses being perpetrated by the armed forces in JK and exert pressure on New Delhi to put an immediate halt to these abuses and revoke all the draconian laws which are in force in the state.
