Baqirya Health Care and Research Centre Kargil (Health Wing of Imam Khumaini Memorial Trust) on its Mission Hepatitis B Free Kargil started its 3rd & final phase of vaccination campaign against hepatitis B today.

The vaccination programme for the 3rd doze started from village Thovina and Kanoor in association with NHPC Kargil, a spokesman said.

The team of volunteers and technical staff under the supervision of BHC & RC approached towards the villages early in the morning. During the camp it was observed that the people who were vaccinated in the 1st and 2nd phase were eagerly waiting for their 3rd dose of vaccine. People of the same area appreciated the team work and extended their gratitude to all the supporting members specially the team of technical persons deputed by the Baqirya. 

“It is pertinent to mention here that the mission was launched from village Thuvina in the month of October 2017 and in continuation to the the programme covered all the villages of Shargole zone in which 8531 beneficiaries were screened and vaccinated during the campaign for 1st and 2nd  dose,” general secretary of the Baqirya Health Care and Research Centre Kargil said in a statement.
