The inaugural volleyball match was won by Checkreshipora and inaugural Kabaddi match was won by Bandipoa police.

A week long sports festival organized by Bandipora police kick started on Tuesday at Sher-i-Kashmir sports stadium in Bandipora district.

The event was inaugurated by deputy commissioner Bandipora, SajadHussian. Officials of Bandipora police including additional superintendent of StanzinLosal  PoliceBandipora, deputy superintendent (headquarter) Bandipora, MurtazaHussain and deputy superintendent (DR) Bandipora, Sheikh Tahir.

An official said that five games will be played during the week-long event which includes volleyball, rugby, Kabaddi, Wushu and Kickboxing. The concluding ceremony will be held on Sunday.   

The inaugural volleyball match was won by Checkreshipora and inaugural Kabaddi match was won by Bandipoa police.
