JK thrash Odhisaa by 10 wickets

Srinagar, Dec 11: After Ranji trophy team scripted its second victory in the Ranji trophy tournament on Monday, it was turn of Under-19 JK team to register a thumping 10 wickets win against Odhissa in the Under-19 Cooch Behar cricket tournament at Cuttack on Tuesday.
Needing only 22 runs to win in second innings after bundling out hosts Odhissa for 205 runs, JK achieved the target without losing any wicket.
Earlier Odhissa had won the toss and elected to bat first. The whole team was bundled out for 216 runs. For JK Rohit Sharma took four wickets while as Umar Nazir and Aaqib Nazir took two wickets each.
In reply, JK amassed a total of 462 runs in their first inning thus getting first inning lead of 246 runs. For JK SP Khajuria and SB Magotra starred with bat scoring 120 and 100 respectively. PA Sharma and Aqaib Nazir contributed with 45 and 61 respectively.
In their second innings Odhissa were bundled out for 205 runs, setting target of 22 runs for the JK to win match. Umar Nazir took four wickets for JK. The visitors JK achieved that target without loosing a wicket.
