Bemina Development and Welfare Forum (BDWF) has expressed resentment over inordinate delay in implementation of Chief Minister's (CM) directions by the authorities regarding development of the area.

A delegation of BDWF said that the members of the Forum had presented a list of demands to the CM at a public meeting n 8th October.

"The Chief Minister had issued on the spot directions to the concerned officials present in the meeting. However, more than a month has passed, but unfortunately not a single demand has been taken care of," said Ghulam Muhammad Bhat, heading the delegation.

The delegation said that they had demanded robust drainage network from Hyderia Colony to Hamdania Colony, construction of lavatory blocks/toilets under SBM, installation of street lights, upgradation of PHC Khomeini Chowk and an ambulance, a well-maintained public park and playfield, upgradation of Govt High School to higher secondary level, ration store and a school in Rakh Arath colony, repair of power transmission lines in Dargund and Dansoosa areas. The delegation sought intervention of the CM to direct the authorites to redress the grievances in a time bound manner.
