A delegation of Bemina development and welfare forum (BDWF) called on the minister of state (MoS) for Power Farooq Ahmed Andrabi and apprised him of problems faced by people at Khomeini Chowk Bemina due to massive curtailment of power.  The delegation complained about unscheduled power cuts and expressed dismay over poor power infrastructure in the area.

"The worn-out wooden poles and damaged dangling power lines pose serious threat to life and property in the area. Despite repeated pleas, the concerned department has failed to replace the damaged wires and poles, thereby exposing people to danger," the delegation informed the minister, urging him to issue necessary instructions for the redressal of these problems.

The delegation also sought the intervention of Power minister to ensure the work on feeder segregation, “which has still not been taken up despite the department issuing allotment months back, is started without any further delay. “
