Shaheed-e-Millat PHC inaugurated at Zadibal

Constructed at a cost of Rs 2.5 crore, the Primary Health Centre is named in the memory of Late Moulana Mirwaiz Muhammad Farooq.

MLA Zadibal Abid Hussain Ansari today inaugurated Shaheed-e-Millat Primary Health Centre at Lal Bazar area in Zadibal constituency. 

Constructed at a cost of Rs 2.5 crore, the Primary Health Centre is named in the memory of Late Moulana Mirwaiz Muhammad Farooq. 

Residents of the area appreciated the step by Ansari to name the PHC after Shaheed-e-Millat. A large number of people were present on the occasion. 

“We have made this health centre in the memory of late Mirwaiz Moulana Muhammad Farooq Sahib. Late Mirwaiz Sahib was a prominent religious and social personality and his family has been playing an important role in shaping socio-religious scenario of Kashmir,” Abid Ansari said. 

“He had vital role in the Islamic teachings in Kashmir and he always stressed upon universal brotherhood. He belonged to a religious and educated family. We cannot forget his contribution towards Kashmir people,” Abid added. Besides CMO, ZMO, SDPO Zadibal, SHO Lal Bazar, Syed Akeel PDP youth president Zadibal, zonal president and other officials were present.
