‘Disappearance of LPG, Kerosene and electricity has worsened situation’

SRINAGAR, Dec 11: Expressing serious concern over the “administrative inertia in Kashmir”, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Tuesday said the “present government’s inefficiency has added to the winter woes of the people particularly in Srinagar City.”
 Addressing a party workers’ meeting in Habba Kadal constituency, PDP cadre Mudasir Amin, as per a statement said: “A cursory visit in the City particularly in Habba Kadal area shows how people are suffering for want of fuel like cooking gas and kerosene.”
 He said people in this constituency are craving for safe drinking water, electricity and ration. “The dilapidated condition of lanes, prolonged power cuts, shortage of drinking water and non-availability of LPG cylinder in this constituency has added in the problems faced by the people in winter,” Amin said.
 The meeting was attended by party Zonal President Muneeb Ahmad besides the prominent workers from the constituency. Muneeb while addressing the meeting discussed the problems of the area and difficulties of the locals faced “due to misgovernance and corruption”.
