Radio Kashmir hosts Novelist Gowhar

Srinagar, Dec 11: Radio Kashmir Srinagar Tuesday organised a “Mulaqaat” with eminent Kashmiri Novelist and poet Ghulam Nabi Gowhar at the RK auditorium.
 The event was attended by a big number of poets, writers and intellectuals while the guests were welcomed by the head of programmes Shamshad Kralwari.
 Speaking on the occasion Ghulam Nabi Gowhar recounted some interesting facets of his literary journey. “Two research papers, one written by Ghulam Nabi Aatash focusing on the prose contribution of Gowhar was presented by Satish Vimal and the other by Abdul Ahad Hajni dwelling on the poetry of Gowhar was presented,” a host said.
 Prominent among those who attended the event included: Prof Rehman Rahi, Prof Muhammad Zaman Azurda and Ahmad Ali Fayyaz. The event was anchored by broadcaster Aahfaq Lone. “Prominent folk singer Abdul Gaffar Dar Kanihami and Party presented some well composed songs of Gowhar,” a host said adding Satish Vimal, a broadcaster and poet presented vote of thanks.
