Sheikh Rashid injured

4 killed in AML office attack



Rawalpindi, Feb 8: At least four people were killed and more than a dozen people injured when unknown assailants equipped with machine guns resorted to indiscriminate firing at Awami Muslim League (AML) office in Rawalpindi on Monday.
 The incident occurred when AML chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed was present in his election office located in the city’s Khayaban-e-Sir-Syed area.
 The injured were rushed to the hospital.
Rasheed, who is contesting by-poll scheduled to be held later this month, was wounded in the incident. He had been shifted to hospital where his condition is reported to be stable.
