In connection with International Yoga Day J&K Police today organised Yoga programmes at different Police establishments across the state.
Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur and Police TrainingSchools at Manigam, organised special Yoga programmes in order to aware thePolice staff and trainees regarding the benefits of the Yoga exercises.
At SKPA Ms Anuja Jasrotia, a Yoga Expert, Therapist andProfessional were invited in the Academy to teach Yoga exercises to staff andtrainees.
Muhammad Sulaiman Salaria, ADGP, Director SKPA Udhampur inhis address briefed the staff and trainees with regard to importance and theobjectives of Yoga exercises and benefits thereof. A total of 650 participants including 300staff members (comprising of all GOs of Police Academy including ADGP, DirectorPolice Academy) and 350 trainees of SKPA Udhampur participated in theInternational Yoga Day 2019 event and undertook the Yoga exercises.
At PTS Manigam under the supervision of SSP Haseeb Ul RehmanYoga Day was celebrated with full enthusiasm by the staff and trainees.
At Leh Yoga Training Session was organised at DistrictPolice Lines Leh, Ms Karuna Gohil ofLadakh Public School Leh, imparted Yogatraining and also explained their benefits to the participants. Later, an interactionsession was also held regarding Yog and its benefits in day to day life.
The Yoga training session was attended by Additional SP Leh Suresh Kumar Chib-JKPS, Dy.SP Hq Leh IshtyaqA Kacho-JKPS, Dy.SP DAR Leh Suraj Singh besides other police personnel.
At Ramban Gool Police joins the nation in celebratingInternational Yoga Day on the theme ‘Yoga for Heart’ with the objective ‘EveryJawan Fit and Fine ‘ here in Police Station Complex Gool.
The event was organised by SDPO Gool Rafi Giri and SHONayeem Matoo under the supervision of Addl.SP Ramban Sanjay Parihar and overallsupervision SSP Ramban Anita Sharma.
