Doda, Jan 21: District Rural Youth Welfare Association (DRYWA ) has leveled serious allegations against the Rural Development Department for using substandard material in the construction works held during the year 2016-17.
President of the association Farid Ahmed Naik said: “During the financial year 2016-17 substandard material has been utilized for works executed under various schemes by RDD in the Panchayats. “
He demanded that a high level enquiry should be initiated in this regard and verification of estimates and work done statements submitted by the technical staff should be verified with respect to the works completed and physical verification of such works should be conducted so as to trace out the culprits.
