Udhampur: Police seized 420 resin tins of Jammu and Kashmir State Forest Department, which was being illegally smuggled to a Pathankote (Punjab) based firm by some locals.
 Senior Superintendent of Police Udhampur, Shakeel Ahmed Beig said the consignment of resin was stolen from the SFC and was being illegally transported from Udhampur to Punjab when it was seized by the police.
 He said police has arrested Govind Ram son of Krishan Lal of Paldai, Tehsil Majalta, District Udhampur from Narote, Jaimal Singh, District Pathankote.
 He said the 420 stolen tin of resin was recovered from him. The truck (JK14-9647) allegedly used for the transportation of resin was also seized.
