To promote Valley tourism, Travel Agents Society of Kashmir (TASK) organised a travel mart at Indore to attract tourists.
A press handout issued by the association said TASK organised the event "Kashmir Back to Paradise" to clear negative perception about Kashmir allegedly being created by a section of media outside the state, among the intending tourists.
Director Tourism Kashmir Mahmood A Shah was present on the occasion.
President TASK Mohammad Ibrahim Siah speaking on the occasion assured quality services on behalf of his members to the tourists intending to come Kashmir.
General Sectary TASK, Ather Yameen Narwari said that J&K and particularly Kashmir is known world over for its tourism potential.
"Kashmir has lot to offer as the place is bestowed with spectacular attractions," he said.
Meanwhile, J&K Tourism department in collaboration with various travel trade bodies of Kashmir organised an impressive road show at Sayaji Roof Top Terrace, Indore.
The event received an encouraging response from the tour and travel operators of Madhya Pradesh and media who took keen interest in promoting the tourism avenues in Jammu and Kashmir.
Later, while addressing a press conference organized by TASK, Director Tourism Kashmir, Mahmood A Shah urged the stakeholders to come forward in promoting tourism avenues in J&K.
