On the occasion of World Glaucoma Week being commemorated from March 10-16, ASG Eye Hospital, Srinagar conducted a free glaucoma screening camp on Tuesday.
According to statement issued by the hospital, the patientswere informed and educated about glaucoma (kalamoti) and it’s management in thecamp.
DrShaziaShafi gave an informative presentation on Glaucomaand the need for an early glaucoma diagnosis. The programme concluded with anopen question answer session with patients.
ASG Eye Hospital is conducting free glaucoma screening camptill March 16.
“Glaucoma is one of the leading causes of blindnessworldwide with significant prevalence in Kashmir. Only early detection can helpus in prevention,” read the statement.
