Srinagar, May 2: An awareness programme was organised at the SICOP Industrial Estate in Sanat Nagar, aimed at informing industrial unit owners about government initiatives and addressing their concerns.
During the event, Waseem Raja, General Manager of DIC Srinagar, attentively listened to the grievances of the unit owners and encouraged them to visit the DIC office for assistance with their issues. Emphasising the importance of collective effort, he expressed the aspiration to develop the Sanat Nagar Industrial Estate, akin to the successful Rangreth SIDCO Complex and Lasipora Industrial Estate.
Raja urged unit holders to capitalize on government schemes to enhance production and keep pace with contemporary trade and business practices.
Awareness programme regarding the New Central Sector Scheme (NCSS), exclusively for industrial units established after September 1, 2021. Consideration was given to establishing a departmental help desk (if required) at Sanat Nagar Industrial Estate to facilitate this initiative.
Detailed discussions were held on matters about enhancing productivity in industrial units, with careful attention given to addressing queries raised by unit owners.
