Bank of India distributes dry ration in JK

The Srinagar branch of Bank of India’s Amritsar Zone under NBG North-I carried out third stage of distribution of dry ration to the needy and distressed people at Kangan and Habakadal areas under Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility.

According to statement, the activity was carried out inassociation with the Women Wing Samooh, Jammu, a socio-cultural NGO of J&K.

   

The exercise was organized under the able guidance of DrSmita Murmu, the first lady of J&K. Dr Murmu has categorically advised to takesocial distancing and other sanitazation measures during distribution.

Branch Manager Srinagar Branch, Muhammad Ashraf said thedecision was taken by their General Manager NBG North 1 Salil Kr Swain andtheir Zonal Manager Vasudev, Dy Zonal Manager Kewal Kumar Garg, both AmritsarZone.

The statement said Harish Khurana, PRO, NBG North – I playeda pivotal role in executing the operation.

Previously, the Bankdistributed dry ration to the needy in Migrant Colony, Purkhoo and at GolePulli Talab Tillo Jammu.

Social activist of Khawaja Gareeb Nawaz National EducationalTrust Dr Nisar and Welfare Society Srinagar managed the activity under theguidance of Puneet Gupta Chief Manager Satwari Branch and Anita ChandpuriSecretary Samooh Women Wing Jammu Kashmir.
