Changing global trends in agriculture sector need capacity building: Dir Agriculture

Kupwara: Agriculture Production and Farmers Welfare Department Kashmir organized a daylong capacity building /training program to unleash Strengthen and maintain the ability of the field extension set up at Town Hall Kupwara for the officers/officials of the district.

Director Agriculture Kashmir Chowdhary Muhammad Iqbal inaugurated the program. Speaking on the occasion, he said the capacity building is a practice that tends to improve the range of skills and competencies.

   

He added the department is working to increase the efficiency and capacity building of the officers and officials of the department so that they can deliver in an efficient way while implementing different flagship programs and schemes.

Chowdhary stressed upon the participants for understanding the importance of conducting these kind of programs which ultimately can bring the visible change on ground and can become a game changer in reviving the agriculture sector.

He impressed upon them to utilize the training contents with interest to update themselves with the latest agricultural interventions.
