Agriculture Minister Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura today informed the Legislative Assembly that the farmers are being provided farm machinery, implements/equipment involving subsidy under various Centrally Sponsored Schemes through J&K State Agro Industries Development Corporation Ltd on approved rates.
The minister was replying to a question of legislator Sukhnandan Choudhary.
The minister informed the House that farmers of the state are not forced to buy agriculture equipment of any particular brand comparatively on higher rates.
