Handicrafts Department on Sunday organised a daylong artisan awareness camp in Ganderbal. The camp was inaugurated by Joint Director Handicrafts Kashmir, Sajid Yehaya Naqash.
The objective of organising the camp was to make artisansand the general public aware of various welfare programmes and schemes of thedepartment.
Speaking on the occasion, joint director handicraftsemphasized upon the participants to take maximum benefit of welfare schemes ofthe department and urged upon them to take handicrafts as their source ofearning and livelihood.
