Various local hoteliers on Friday appealed authorities to extend the last date for submitting offer letters for offering their hotels on rent to the government.
A delegation of hoteliers said that estate department Kashmir has invited offer letters from hoteliers for renting their hotels for the use of Darbar move employees.
They said there are certain documents which need to be enclosed with the offer letter. Some of the officials who are authorized to issue these documents or to renew them are out of station, therefore, they could not submit the offer letters while the authorities at estate department have set March 12 as last date for submitting this offer letter.
They appealed authorities to extend the last date so that they could also participate in the process.
Similarly, they added that similar offer letter has also been invited by police headquarters who have set March 10 as last date and requested the police department to extend the date.
