Srinagar: Mukhtar Shah has been elected as president of Jammu and Kashmir Hoteliers Club Gulmarg chapter.
As per the statement issued here, the new office bearers were elected in presence of Chairman Hoteliers Club, Mushtaq Ahmad Chaya on Wednesday.
Mukhtar Ahmed Shah was elected president for 2021-22, Manzoor Ahmed Khan as senior vice president, Sajad Ahmad Makai, junior vice president, Akib Chaya, secretary general, Adil Shah as joint secretary general and Abid Hussain as treasurer. Umar Tramboo has been appointed as advisor to Gulmarg chapter.
Mushtaq Chaya on the occasion congratulated newly elected body and requested them to take up issues confronting Gulmarg hoteliers with government in order to redress them.
Secretary General, JKHC Tariq Ghani said “Gulmarg land lease is a burning issue and requested Lieutenant Governor to resolve the issue at an earliest so that Gulmarg hoteliers be ready for the upcoming winter season.”
