Expanding its foot-print outside the state, J&K Bank opened its second business Unit in Agra, which is the bank’s 16 th branch in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
The bank’s President Pushap Kumar Tickoo inaugurated the business unit in presence of Zonal Head Delhi Rajni Saraf, Vice-Presidents Saresh Sharma and Janak Raj amid huge gathering comprising of valuable customers, traders, senior citizens and local residents.
Remarkably, the branch clocked a business of Rs.3.55 crores on its first day of operation.
Earlier, while providing the bank’s brief introduction to the audience, Zonal Head Rajni Saraf summed up the bank’s approach saying, “If you are happy with our services, kindly convey to others. If you have any complaints, please convey to us.”
The demand for Forex services was accepted on the spot by the President P K Tickoo, who is also Advisor to the Chairman Parvez Ahmed.
The three customers felicitated were Sahinder Kumar Sachdeva of Virola Traders, Salim Pasha Noori of James Footwear Co. and S M A Jafri.
Notably, opened after 34 years in the city of Agra, it is the bank’s 902nd business unit overall and 55th in the Delhi zone.
