JK Grameen Bank organises financial inclusion programme
J&K Grameen Bank in collaboration with NABARD organized an awareness programme on Pradhan Mantri Social Security Schemes at Shrine Buddha Amarnath village, Mandi under the Branch Office Mandi Poonch.
DDM NABARD, Des Raj who was the chief guest on the occasion spoke at length about the various schemes of NABARD. The event was held under the chairmanship of RK Chhibber.
Speaking on the occasion, Vipan Gupta Manager, MF&FI department, J&K Grameen Bank, apprised the participants about the benefits of social security schemes namely PMJJBY, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, (PMSBY) Pradhan Mantri Suraksha BimaYojana and (APY) Atal Pension Yojana.
He informed the gathering that these schemes have been designed to provide security cover to the poor population particularly those working in the unorganized sectors, a statement here said.
He advised the people to avail this benefit through nearest Grameen Bank Branch.
R K Narang, Area Manager, Rajouri/Poonchm, J&K Grameen Bank made people aware about new Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (Prime Minister's Crop Insurance Scheme) in which the premium rates to be paid by the farmers have been brought down substantially so as to enable more farmers avail insurance cover against crop loss on account of natural calamities.
P P Singh, Senior Manager gave thrust on activation of RuPay cards, NEFT/RTGS, IMPS.
