With an aim to attract youth towards skills, Jammu & Kashmir Skill Development Mission has showcased profiles of 12 state level skill champions in its recently released Calendar for 2019.
The calendar was released on the sidelines of the Skill Training Providers – Industry Linkage Summit organised by JKSDM on Monday in Jammu.
The calendar contains profiles on skill champions who won the state level competition and represented J&K for the first time, in India Skills regional and national competitions, said a statement issued by JKSDM.
In its maiden outing at India Skills National Competition, J&K bagged three Medallions of Excellence at the competition which was held from 3rd October – 5th October, 2018 at Aerocity Grounds, New Delhi. India Skills is considered the biggest skill competition of the country held every alternate year to select candidates for the prestigious World Skills Competition.
