A Kashmiri student Ruby Jan studying in SRM University, Chennai has been awarded gold medal for her MTech research project.
Twentyfour-year-old Ruby Jan who hails from Noorpora, Awantipora was awarded goldmedal for her master’s research project studying Xanthan Gum as a sustainablebiopolymers for soil treatment.
“I am happy to receive the gold medal for the work I have put during my research for the chosen topic.
I had worked really hard on my research project and at the end of it, I have been rewarded for all the hard work. To get gold medal outside Kashmir is no small achievement and I feel really great about it,” Ruby said.
