Breakaway factions of Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) and Kashmir Traders and Manufactures Federation (KTMF) extended their gratitude to the people of Kashmir for observing the complete bandh on Friday.
These bodies had called for shutdown to protest the killings in Shopian and Kangan. Representatives of the trade bodies addressed a press conference, called to thank people for making the bandh call successful.
Co-chairman KEA, Farooq Ahmad Dar, said, “Enough is enough, Kashmiris have suffered a lot due to oppression. We will not tolerate this anymore. We are ready to sacrifice our trade, education and everything for our goal. We will defeat the nefarious designs of our enemies.”
