Lalit Mahajan has been elected president Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) for the term 2019-21.
The election was held on Saturday at BBIA Bhawan under theelection commissioners Sudhir Kumar, Taranjit Singh Sahni, Ram Langer, SS Wazirand Vinod Jamwal. The total votes casted in the election were 210 out of 232eligible voters.
Mahajan scored 189 votes defeating Rakesh Bhat, whoscored 18 votes, 3 vote were invalid.
Tarun Singla was elected senior vice president by scoring170 votes defeating Parvinder Singh Jaggi who scored 32 votes, 8 votes wereinvalid.
The candidates which were elected unopposed were Ajay Langeras vice president, Viraaj Malhotra as general secretary, Rajeah Jain assecretary and Vivek Singhal as treasurer.
