The Legal Metrology Department has issued a show-cause notice to a shopkeeper for unfair practice and investigated into the complaint.
During the investigation, it was observed that theshopkeeper has not issued a proper bill to the customer nor has issued thewarranty card. “The trader requested the department not to refer thecomplaint to consumer/civil court for further proceedings and pleaded to settlethe complaint through mediation,” said a LMD statement.
