Mushtaq Wani to continue as KCCI president

Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) today decided to extend the term of its executive committee for one more year upto September 2017.

Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) today decided to extend the term of its executive committee for one more year upto September 2017.

The meeting also decided that all the people who are holding different posts including Mushtaq Ahmad Wani as President of KCCI will continue to hold their position for next year. The decision was taken during the 82nd annual general meeting of KCCI held at Amar Singh Club, here today, a statement issue by the chamber said. 

"All the agenda was discussed item wise and approved/adopted unanimously by the general members of the KCCI present in the meeting. The general body meeting also adopted the resolution extending the term of Executive Committee/Office Bears elected in September, 2015 up to September, 2017 where it was decided that Mushtaq Ahmad Wani will continue as president KCCI," the statement said. 

Gowhar Maqbool, Senior Vice President;  Prof AR Khan, Junior Vice President; Faiz Ahmad Bakshi, Secretary General; Javid Ahmad Tenga Secretary General and Fayaz Ahmad Punjabi, would remain Treasurer upto September 2017.
